"Shipping ended up being reasonable"
I bought a pair of skates and thought the shipping was going to be annoying, but actually it ended up being fair. I’ve seen other sites charge a lot more for something similar, so this was a nice surprise. The checkout made the cost clear too, and I was expecting some random extra fee at the end, but nope, nothing weird. Package showed up fine, and I’d definitely use SidelineSwap again...

"Easy enough to use, but felt a bit ignored"
SidelineSwap was easy to figure out overall. Listing my gear didn’t take long, and keeping track of messages and orders was simple enough, even from my phone. The site is laid out clearly, which I appreciated. That said, there were a couple times where I felt kind of ignored when I needed help or was waiting on a response, which was frustrating. No major issues so far, but the support side could feel a little more present.

"I’m picky about where I buy gear..."
I’m picky about where I buy gear online, so I usually expect at least a little hassle, but SidelineSwap was super easy to use. I found what I needed quickly, sent one quick question, and got through checkout without any confusion.
The payment process felt straightforward, and I liked being able to track everything after the purchase. Everything met my personal standard for a smooth buying experience, and I’d definitely shop there again

"Shipping took longer than expected"
I ordered a stick and it arrived fine, so no real issues there. I don’t know why, but the shipping just felt slower than I expected, and the tracking barely updated for a few days. It wasn’t a terrible experience or anything, I just wish it had moved along a little quicker. I’d probably order again, just not if I needed it right away.

My return did get processed and I eventually got the refund, but it took a bit longer than I’d expect. I get that these things can take a few days, but common sense says it shouldn’t feel like you’re waiting around wondering what’s happening.

I had a good experience with this seller. They replied quickly and answered my question before I went ahead and bought the item, which I always appreciate. The shipping update was clear too, so I knew what to expect. I did have to follow up once, but it wasn’t a big deal. For anyone buying on SidelineSwap, I’d say it’s always worth asking your questions upfront, and this seller handled it well overall

"Easy payment, payout was a little slow"
Buying was straightforward, and my payment went through without any issues. Selling worked fine too, I just had to wait a couple of days after delivery for the payout to come through. It was fine, totally fine, not like I was checking it constantly or anything. I just wish it moved a bit faster. Overall though, good experience...

I bought a used pair of skates they showed up just like the seller described. The photos matched, the scratches were all called out, and there were no surprises when I opened the box. I’m usually tired of having to chase people down or deal with support when something isn’t accurate, so it was nice that this was just straightforward. I was a little nervous buying used gear online, but this felt easy and honest. I’d use SidelineSwap again.

"Good deals if you take a little time to look"
I’ve picked up a couple of hockey items on SidelineSwap, and the prices were literally so much better than buying everything brand new.

Some sellers are definitely more reasonable than others, so I usually keep an eye on a few listings before I actually buy. The fees and shipping can creep up a bit, but in my experience it still ended up being worth it.

For used gear, the value is solid overall. I’ve had a good experience so far and I’ll probably keep using it.
